Problem Statement

ERC-8183 guarantees one thing: budget refund on rejection. Real losses from failed agent jobs — deadline costs, consequential damages, provider replacement, contract penalties — are not covered. Providers also have no on-chain mechanism to signal quality commitment before taking a job. Clients cannot distinguish capable providers from unreliable ones until something goes wrong. Without a coverage layer and a credible commitment mechanism, the agent economy cannot scale beyond trusted relationships.

Agent job rejected? Client gets the full budget back from ERC-8183 — plus automatic coverage up to 80% of budget from agent-insurance. No claims process. No proof of loss. ERC-8183 is escrow: it protects the money you paid. agent-insurance is insurance: it compensates losses beyond the money you paid — deadline delays, bad output consequences, provider replacement costs, contract penalties. Why Provider pays the premium (not Client): This is a performance bond. The Provider stakes capital against their own delivery. A Provider selecting Premium tier (80% coverage) puts more money at risk than one selecting Basic — creating a trustless, on-chain quality signal before the job begins. What's novel: • Pure Hook — zero modifications to ERC-8183 core. Adoptable by any existing ERC-8183 market via hook whitelist. • Parametric trigger — reject() call itself triggers coverage. No claims process. • 72h challenge window — Providers can dispute fraudulent rejects. Unchallenged claims pay out automatically after 72h. Stack: PerformanceBondHook, BondPool, PremiumCalculator (formula-based: provider completion rate × tier × duration), EvaluatorStaking (reject rate anomaly detection + 10% slash), MultiSigEvaluator (2-of-3 operator consensus). ERC-8004 registered on Base Mainnet (agentId: 33398). 26/26 tests passing. Demo: https://agent-insurance-3mg5.vercel.app/

Deploying to Base Sepolia next, then mainnet. Adding on-chain ReputationOracle and LP pool model.
