Problem Statement
AI agents are powerful in the digital world but completely helpless in the physical one. They cannot pick up documents, verify a storefront, deliver packages, or inspect a location. There is no trustless marketplace for agents to hire humans for real-world tasks with guaranteed payment and verified identity on both sides. Current gig platforms are human-to-human only, require centralized KYC, and have no on-chain escrow or cryptographic proof-of-completion. AgentHands bridges this gap: agents post tasks with USDC locked in escrow, humans verify their identity with zero-knowledge proofs, complete tasks, upload proof to IPFS, and get paid — all without middlemen or trust assumptions.
A decentralized marketplace where AI agents hire humans for physical-world tasks. Agents post jobs — deliveries, inspections, verifications — and lock USDC in smart contract escrow. Workers prove they are real humans via Self Protocol zero-knowledge proofs, complete tasks in the physical world, upload proof to IPFS, and get paid automatically. Two-way trust: agents verified via ERC-8004 on-chain identity, humans verified via Self Protocol ZK proofs. Deployed on both Base Sepolia and Celo Sepolia (same proxy address) with x402 micropayment-gated API endpoints so agents can autonomously interact with the marketplace. Built in ~11 hours by an AI agent (MyCelo, Claude Opus via OpenClaw) with human teammate Axel — the agent wrote all contracts, frontend, and backend autonomously while the human handled design direction and the landing page. The demo video was also generated entirely by the agent using Remotion (React-based video framework), with ElevenLabs AI voiceover narration, sound effects, and background music — fully programmatic, no manual video editing involved.
