Problem Statement
In March 2026, a security researcher found a $500M vulnerability in Injective Protocol. They disclosed responsibly. The team patched it the next day. The reward? $50,000 — still unpaid months later. Being a white-hat netted 1000x less than being a black-hat. This isn't isolated — it's systemic. Protocols engage in 'severity lawyering' (classifying critical bugs as low to minimize payouts), offer 'theater bounties' ($500K max means nothing when everything gets downgraded), and researchers have no enforcement mechanism beyond complaining on Twitter. We're economically training hackers to be malicious. BugBounty.agent fixes this by removing human discretion from payouts entirely.
The first bug bounty platform where being ethical actually pays. Autonomous agents hunt vulnerabilities, AI arbiters judge severity from objective state diffs (no prompt injection), and payouts happen automatically via smart contracts. Funds locked upfront — can't lowball what's already escrowed. 72-hour response window — silence means auto-accept. On-chain verdicts — no appeals, no negotiations. Built with 7 verified smart contracts on Base Sepolia, multi-agent system (Hunter, Arbiter, Executor, Protocol), Venice API for private cognition, and a live dashboard.
