Celo Payment Agent

Problem Statement
Cross-border payments for gig workers, contractors, and service providers are slow (3-5 days), expensive ($15-50 per wire), and require intermediaries. AI agents that need to pay for services, compensate workers, or distribute funds programmatically face the same friction. Celo's sub-cent fees and mobile-first stablecoin infrastructure make it possible for agents to execute payments that cost less than a penny — enabling use cases like paying a data labeler $0.02 per annotation or streaming $5/hour to a contractor in real-time.
An AI-powered payment agent built on Celo that leverages sub-cent transaction fees for frequent, automated stablecoin payments. Designed for real-world utility: recurring payroll, micropayment streams, multi-recipient batch payments, and conditional payment triggers — all executed autonomously on Celo with cUSD/cEUR stablecoins. Features include: batch payment processing (pay 100 recipients in a single transaction), scheduled recurring payments, payment condition evaluation (pay-if-price-above, pay-on-delivery), payment receipt generation, and a comprehensive audit trail via CeloPaymentLog contract on Status Network Sepolia. 38 tests covering payment lifecycle, batch processing, and error recovery.
