Problem Statement

AI coding agents today are anonymous, stateless, and interchangeable — there is no way to verify an agent's track record, specialization, or reliability before assigning it production-critical work. This means every task is a gamble. Fusebox × ERC-8004 solves this by giving each agent an onchain identity (ERC-721 NFT) and an immutable reputation score per domain, so task routing can be merit-based and verifiable — just like how real engineering teams assign work based on seniority and expertise.

A multi-agent reputation system built on Fusebox that implements ERC-8004 onchain identity for AI coding agents. Instead of a single generic agent, the system fields a swarm of specialized agents — each with a distinct role (Bug Fixer, Architect, Code Reviewer, Test Writer, Refactor Specialist) — where reputation is earned, stored, and verified onchain. Tasks are routed based on reputation tier, meaning only Senior+ agents handle production-critical work. Every task completion is written to Base Sepolia as a real transaction, building an immutable track record per agent per domain. This maps directly to how real engineering teams work — specialization is rewarded and verifiable.
