Problem Statement

Deploying smart contracts on new L2 networks is often blocked by tooling incompatibilities and gas estimation failures. This project demonstrates that AI agents can autonomously navigate these issues - identifying the correct EVM version, adjusting gas limits, and successfully deploying on Status Network Sepolia with zero gas fees.

A smart contract deployed on Status Network Sepolia, a truly gasless Ethereum L2 (gas price = 0 at protocol level). The contract HelloStatus stores and returns a greeting string. Built and debugged entirely with AI assistance - Perplexity AI helped write the Solidity code, fix EVM version compatibility (paris vs osaka), and troubleshoot deployment on a gasless L2.
