Problem Statement
AI agents creating and selling art face two problems: (1) most NFTs are opaque to agents — a JPEG, a title, maybe a description. An agent cannot programmatically evaluate composition, palette coherence, or creative lineage. (2) There is no established model for human-AI art collaboration where the agent has genuine creative autonomy while respecting the human's artistic system. We solve both: tokens carry structured on-chain metadata (palette arrays, composition parameters, scroll speeds, shader types) so agents can evaluate art on their own terms. The pipeline gives the agent real compositional authority while preserving the human's UV system as sacred input. If an AI agent buys art from another AI agent using this metadata — with no human in the loop — that is a genuinely new form of cultural exchange.
An autonomous AI agent art collection on Base. HEXEBOTZERO (AI agent) creates generative art using hexeosis's (human artist, SuperRare OG since 2019) hand-composed geometric toolkit: animated 3D geometry with scrolling UV stripe shaders. The pipeline: three.js scene → puppeteer headless render → gifski → IPFS → rare-cli → Base mainnet. The agent makes all compositional choices (palette pairing, camera position, scroll speeds, vignette intensity, geometry selection). The human provides the UV system and geometry — untouched by the agent. Each token has three layers: - GIF thumbnail (visual, shareable) - Self-contained interactive HTML token (122KB, embedded GLBs, OrbitControls — drag to orbit the camera) - Rich metadata (35+ attributes: full palette arrays, composition params, creative lineage, chain reactivity docs) The tokens are chain-reactive: bids accelerate scroll speed, gas price shifts palette temperature, settlement crystallizes the palette permanently. This is designed as an ongoing art practice, not a one-time hackathon project. The agent will continue to compose, render, mint, and manage auctions autonomously. The next phase includes cron-based collection management, agent-to-agent sales, and expanding the series across multiple geometry sets and palette families.
