Problem Statement
Autonomous AI agents cannot be truly sovereign if they depend on centralized orchestration, expose treasury principal to autonomous spend, or require human gatekeepers to upgrade their own capabilities. Existing frameworks treat agents as tools, not entities. Nexus solves this: agents own their identity on-chain, govern their own evolution, and operate with yield-isolated financial safety — making sovereign, self-improving agents viable without sacrificing safety or human emergency override.
Nexus is a sovereign self-evolving autonomous agent collective. Agents own their on-chain identity via ERC-8004, govern their own upgrades through an on-chain propose/approve/execute lifecycle, and autonomously evolve their capabilities — diagnosing bottlenecks via private Venice AI reasoning in a TEE, deploying upgraded contracts, and batch-spawning specialized child agents — all without human intervention. The yield-isolated treasury ensures principal is structurally inaccessible to agent spend under all execution conditions. Three layers of safety are embedded at the EVM level: immutable spawn caps, authorized-spawner allowlists, and a Sentinel circuit breaker multi-sig. Patent Pending: USPTO Application No. 64/013,671, filed March 23, 2026, assigned to Fidelitas LLC — Series 1.
