Problem Statement
Most agents ask users to trust too much: broad filesystem authority, opaque tool use, weak auditability, and unclear boundaries around sensitive local context. Real operator and developer workflows need an agent that can do useful work while proving it stayed inside explicit trust limits.
OpenClio Sentinel is a local-first trusted operator agent that works under explicit permissions, stays inside bounded authority, and exports auditable evidence of what it did. The project demonstrates that useful agents can stay constrained, visible, and reviewable instead of relying on broad hidden permissions or opaque cloud execution.
