Problem Statement
Most agent and dApp payment flows are still manual, trust-heavy, and difficult to verify. Teams rely on ad hoc payout scripts, off-chain approvals, or centralized operators to decide when funds move. This creates delays, settlement risk, and weak auditability. PolicyPay solves this by encoding payment constraints as policies, locking funds in escrow, and enforcing deterministic payout state transitions on-chain. It further addresses sponsor-level needs by enabling programmable agent hiring/serving via Olas, practical wallet action execution via MoonPay CLI/OpenWallet patterns, and production delivery hooks that map to Markee + Status Network requirements.
PolicyPay is a Web3-native programmable payment infrastructure where payouts execute only when explicit policy conditions are satisfied. It combines escrow-backed fund control, deterministic on-chain lifecycle transitions, and automation-ready agent workflows. Client and server agents coordinate payment jobs, anchor execution receipts, and finalize release/refund paths through smart contracts on Base Sepolia. The execution layer integrates MoonPay CLI for real wallet operations, supports gasless-compatible workflow paths for Status Network bounty alignment, and includes GitHub-aware delivery workflows for Markee integration narratives.
