Problem Statement
People overpay thousands per year on bills due to missed discounts, forgotten due dates, and hidden late fees. Individuals have zero negotiation power against large providers. Paper receipts get lost with no transparent payment history. SmartSettle solves this by autonomously negotiating and paying bills on-chain with verifiable receipts on Celo Sepolia.
SmartSettle is an autonomous AI agent that reads invoices, negotiates discounts with service providers, and pays bills at the lowest possible price using cUSD on Celo Sepolia. The agent follows a full Observe → Reason → Act loop: it reads the invoice via OCR + Claude AI, reasons about the best discount offer, and autonomously executes on-chain cUSD payments — storing immutable receipts on the blockchain.
