Problem Statement
AI agents need to interact with smart contracts but lack reliable, structured knowledge about how to do so. They waste context tokens parsing raw ABIs, hallucinate function signatures causing failed transactions, or give up entirely. Agents could generate skills themselves, but it takes time, domain knowledge, and specialized tools. Spectopus provides a cheaper, faster, higher-quality alternative — and builds a growing library of reusable skills that other agents can purchase via x402 micropayments.
AI-powered agent skill generator for smart contracts. Given a contract address on Base, Spectopus researches the ABI, detects ERC patterns, analyzes source code, and generates a SKILL.md file following the Agent Skills specification. Other agents can discover and purchase these skills via x402 micropayments — no accounts, no API keys, just pay and use. The generation pipeline runs autonomously: Research (AI agent with tools calls Blockscout API to fetch ABI, source code, detect ERC patterns) → Generate (LLM produces SKILL.md) → Validate (spec validation + ABI cross-check + safety scan). Validation failures trigger automatic retries. Each run produces structured execution logs showing every decision, tool call, and LLM interaction. Built on Base Mainnet with x402 payments ($0.10 to generate, $0.01 to retrieve). Registered with ERC-8004 identity. Discoverable via thirdweb Nexus.
