Problem Statement
Content creators mention products in videos, podcasts, and newsletters — but turning those mentions into affiliate income requires 3+ hours of manual work per week. AI agents need a pay-per-use intelligence service they can discover and call autonomously, with transparent on-chain payment and no subscription required.
An MCP server that extracts affiliate product mentions from content transcripts, metered via x402 micropayments on Base Mainnet. Any AI agent can discover it on Smithery, call it with a content URL, and receive structured product extraction data — paying $0.01/call in USDC. Production-live since March 2026 across podcast, newsletter, and recipe content verticals.

Since Today is building a full MCP incubator. video-commerce-mcp is our first production agent service on Base. We intend to expand to additional content verticals (DIY, homesteading, travel) and grow the per-use API into a retainer-based B2B intelligence product for affiliate program managers.
