Problem Statement

Crypto transactions are permanent. Clipboard hijacking, address spoofing, and phishing steal from humans — and will steal from autonomous AI agents too. Viri watches the transaction construction process before the wallet signs, at the browser layer where these attacks happen.

Viri is a published Chrome extension protecting users from clipboard hijacking, lookalike wallet addresses, and phishing sites. Extended for Synthesis with MetaMask delegations, Venice private inference, Self Protocol identity, and ERC-8004 agent identity on Base. Shipped (live on Chrome Web Store): - Real-time clipboard address substitution detection - Lookalike/homoglyph wallet address detection - Phishing site detection for crypto services - Zero data collection, no keys stored Synthesis extensions: - MetaMask Delegations: delegation-scoped permissions with pre-flight Viri safety checks - Venice Private Agents: address reputation and phishing analysis inside no-data-retention inference - Self Protocol: identity attestation checks before flagging counterparties - ERC-8004 on Base: verifiable agent identity so users can trust the extension is genuine
