Agents using x402 for HTTP payments are pseudonymous payment addresses with no verifiable identity or reputation. This makes it impossible to build trust between agents, gate access by reputation, or audit agent behavior — x402 Identity Hub solves this with ERC-8004 anchored identities.
x402 Identity Hub provides identity infrastructure for agents operating over the x402 HTTP payment protocol. Agents making or receiving x402 payments need verifiable identities to build trust, reputation, and composability with other agent systems. The hub integrates with ERC-8004 to give x402 agents on-chain identity anchors — linking payment addresses to verifiable agent profiles, operator wallets, and reputation scores. Accessible via ENS at x402id.eth.
