Problem Statement

Autonomous agents can already propose DeFi actions, but treasury operators still do not trust them with capital because there is rarely a hard safety boundary. YieldLock MCP solves that by making Lido positions natively agent-callable through MCP while enforcing a contract-level rule that only staking yield can be spent. It also helps depositors understand changing Lido Earn conditions through benchmark-aware plain-language alerts.

YieldLock MCP is a Lido-native Agent Treasury OS. It gives AI agents a reference MCP server for staking, wrapping, unwrapping, unstaking, rewards queries, vault monitoring, and governance actions. Treasury capital sits inside a principal-protected wstETH contract that only releases unlocked staking yield, so the agent can pay for operations without ever touching principal.

Plans to continue

Next steps are deploying the treasury primitive onchain, wiring live Lido contract calls into the MCP server, and replacing simulated vault feeds with live Mellow/Lido Earn data.
